Overview

Royal Guards are an elite order of Crusaders and Paladins that originally served under King Schmidtz of Glast Heim. King Schmidtz knew that to defend his kingdom from the terrors and chaos of the world he would need a special defense unit that answered only to him. That is how the Griffon-riding Royal Guards came to be.

At a glance, this class has relatively good HP pool and an excellent SP pool, when compared to their class counterpart. Unlike Rune Knights, which are typically forced into Dragon Breath types of builds, the Royal Guard has the option of playing with builds that involve Banding two or more Royal Guards together; a Royal Guard can play Defense or Offense very effectively, given proper foresight of his/her skill tree. In addition to gaining new and powerful offensive skills, the Royal Guard can easily draw upon its older skills, such as Guard, Spear Quicken, Sacrifice, and Rapid Smiting. This makes for one very powerful, vastly dynamic, and exciting class.

Notes
  • Aftercast delay or just delay refers to the time which you cannot use any skills/spells.
  • Cooldown or reuse-delay refers to the time which you cannot use the skill you've just casted.
  • ASPD Dependant means that there is no Aftercast delay and cooldown thus the skill can be spammed as fast as your ASPD can go.
  • Fixed cast and variable cast time is 20% and 80% of the total cast time respectively.
  • Every RG skill that has a cast time can be interrupted.
  • You can always use Ctrl + F to quickly search for a skill.
  • When doing math, unless indicated by brackets ( ), you always multiply/divide first then add/subtract.

  • Hp is shared among Banded members. If one Royal Guard loses some of his hp and Banding detection occurs, a portion of every banded member's hp will be reduced added to his so everyone will have the same % of hp. HP detection and sharing happens every 5 seconds.
  • The skill will re-detect Enemies in AoE and The number of RGs in AoE every 5 seconds. Once enemies are detected to be in range, they suffer Coercion and have their move-speed decreased.
  • Coercion effect's move-speed reduction is (10%*level of banding) and lasts 10 seconds.
  • The Banding animation and sound plays every time the RG moves/stops or enters the screen so people will always be alert that you are in banding.
  • Cannot be used with Prestige and Inspiration.

  • Description: When you use Inspiration, your accuracy rate, stats, attack power and Max HP increase. If your SP reaches 0 the skill will automatically cancel, and if your HP reaches 0, you die. Using the skill costs 0.1% of your experience, and you cannot prevent the experience loss.
